A Manitoba After School Recreation Project

After The School Bell Rings: A Manitoba After School Recreation Project is a provincial initiative focusing on promoting and supporting increased access and opportunities for children and youth, ages 6-12 years, to engage in physical activity and healthy living practices in the critical after school time period.

• After The School Bell Rings: A Manitoba After School Recreation Project will identify and develop resources to assist providers of after school programs to increase physical activity, healthy eating and active transportation within their programs.
• After The School Bell Rings: A Manitoba After School Recreation Project will provide opportunities for providers of after school programs to communicate with each other, to share ideas and seek resolutions to issues and to look at ways to work together to provide effective after school programs.
